Well hello all :-) Some news about our next couple of Gatherings...
This coming Sunday (13th April) Jonny will be leading the morning. 10:30-12ish at the Sylvia Beaufoy Centre as usual. There will be provision for the younger Children and we will also be sending some time (but not too much!) thinking and planning our next few months of gatherings. There will also be an opportunity to worship, take part in communion and have your grey cells stimulated!
After this our next gathering is an Easter Sunday sunrise service. The plan is to meet 6am at Tillington recreation ground for a short time together before retreating to the Pavilion for bacon butties and hot drinks. Obviously this is pretty early and may be struggle for those with kids but the symbolism and links with Easter are rich. Echoes of redemption, new life and grace are all there so we thought it would make a special and meaningful act.
Lamentations 3: 22 The Lord's unfailing love and mercy still continue, 23 Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise. 24 The Lord is all I have, and so in him I put my hope.
